During 2004 Presidential election, Phil Giarrizzo was tapped
to coordinate the Democratic National Committee’s direct
mail program in all the battleground states.
This piece - written, designed and produced by PGC for all
battleground states - was an award winner in the 2004 American
Association of Political Consultants annual direct mail competition.

From North Dakota to North Carolina, PGC produced mail for
Democratic Presidential candidate General Wes Clark during
the 2004 Presidential Primary Elections
Direct mail was a key ingredient in Clark’s campaign
and helped lift the General to key contender status during
the early stages of the Presidential nominating process.

Piece:
“Working to Make America Safer”
The firm has produced a broad range of bilingual mail for
candidates and issue campaigns. This piece was produced in
2004 for an incumbent Congresswoman who had been in office
for several years, serving a heavily Latino district.
When reapportionment significantly reconfigured her Congressional
district, we produced this piece with a removable Spanish
language insert that could be targeted down to the precinct
level for a more effective communications program.

on 74 - 77 campaigns.

allies like this bilingual piece to Latino voters.

This PGC piece was produced for the Democratic Party in
November 2005, to support the field efforts of the No on Props.
74 – 77 campaign.
The “Alliance” field campaign, headed by Phil
Giarrizzo, was by all accounts, one of the biggest ever seen
in California.

Piece:
“Recruitment Piece”
This piece was the result of a groundbreaking partnership
between NECA and IBEW, who joined forces to help promote “project
labor agreements” to California school districts.
