Nancy Mooney, Chief of Staff
Nancy directs the
firm’s staff and is actively involved in all aspects of the
firm’s work. Known for her legislative strategies, campaign
management, and coalition building, Nancy
is a true campaign veteran with years of experience on initiative,
candidate and issue advocacy campaigns in every corner of California.
Before coming to the firm, Nancy
served as a Chief of Staff and District Director in the California State
Assembly.
Maureen Wilson, Director of Operations
Maureen has more than 16 years of experience in administering
for-profit, non-profit, and tribal governmental entities. She is responsible for the day-to-day
operations of the firm, including receivables, payables, purchasing, and
human resources, as well as event planning.
Chris Norem, Director of Policy, Research and Communications
With more than a dozen years of political experience working with
elected officials and political campaigns in California, Chris brings a
wide array of experience, contacts and know how to the firm's pubic
affairs and campaign management practice. He has worked for a U.S.
Senator, served as a District Director for a member of Congress and has
experience with the numerous facets of communications in today's poltical world, including earned media and direct
mail. Chris is a graduate of the University
of California at Davis.
Raquel Simental, Issue Advocacy Coordinator
Raquel is experienced in initiative and candidate campaigns
throughout California and
beyond. Her broad base of contacts in the Latino community and the
Legislature make her an invaluable asset in the conduct of many of the
firm’s political, issue advocacy and public relations
campaigns. She is
a graduate of the University of California, Davis and is currently completing her
Masters in Public Administration at the University of Southern California.
Philip Muller, Director of
Political Technologies
Since the early 1980's, Philip Muller has used technology to win
elections in California and
across the nation. He supports our
campaigns with detailed analysis of voter and demographic data geared
towards finding and tracking potential allies. Philip plays a vital role in developing
and implementing winning communications strategies.
